About Us
Melissa Burnett and Shauna Timothy are sisters who
co-founded Tick Tock LLC in 2005. Melissa is a
graduate of Utah State University, receiving a degree in Painting and Illustration. Shauna studied Graphic Design and is graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Fine Arts. They share a love for creating things.
One day, they thought that it would be fun to figure out how to make a large wall clock. So they designed, cut, and painted their own. When their friends saw the clocks, they all wanted one too. The sisters taught their first clock making party and showed their friends how to make them. Many who were there wanted to have a party for other friends and family because they had so much fun & loved the clocks.
Before they knew it, Melissa and Shauna had themselves a business. Everyone that came to the clock parties wanted to host one (since hosts make a free clock).
In the last year, Melissa and Shauna have trained many other women to be clock making experts who help out with teaching parties. In any given week, there are
multiple clock parties going on somewhere along the Wasatch Front.
The Tick Tock way of clock making has been perfected over the course of making over 2,000 clocks. Many clock party attendees have little to no experience in art or crafts, but because of the techniques and procedures Tick Tock has in place, everyone is able to create a beautiful and unique clock they can be proud of.
